Policy for COVID-19
Updated January 1, 2022
Dear Registered and Prospective Guests for houses at Morse Mountain,
Here is what is relevant to Morse Mountain rentals in State of Maine COVID regulations:
Face Coverings: Maine follows the U.S. CDC’s face-covering guidance that recommends all people, regardless of vaccination status, wear face coverings in indoor, public settings.
Domestic Traveler Policies:
Maine automatically exempts all states from the requirement to test or quarantine, unless a state is otherwise determined by the Maine CDC as being high risk. If one or more states see a spike in cases of highly contagious COVID-19 variants, Maine will apply its test or quarantine requirement to travelers to and from that state.
Fully vaccinated travelers from other countries who are eligible to travel to the United States under national guidelines do not need to quarantine but should get tested with a viral test 3-5 days after travel. As of January 2022, ALL travelers, essential and non-essential, must be vaccinated to enter the U.S.
Please remember to follow these safety measures as you travel throughout Maine:
Bring a face covering for venturing out to public places such as restaurants, retail shops, and other public places
Wash and sanitize your hands regularly.
Avoid unnecessary contact with people outside of your travel party.
If you are feeling sick or experiencing any symptoms, contact a healthcare professional immediately.
We continue to monitor guidance from the CDC and others about lodging safety.
Here are some steps we are taking:
Asking that no one come to a Morse Mountain house if anyone in their party or people they have had contact with has symptoms of COVID-19 within 5 days prior to arrival
Asking that visitors to Morse Mountain houses adhere to CDC guidelines for COVID-19 found at https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2021/s1227-isolation-quarantine-guidance.html
Thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting between guests
For those renting from Morse River Associates, a full refund will be given if you need to cancel because someone in your party has COVID or is exposed to someone with COVID within 5 days of arrival.
As state guidance evolves, we will keep you updated by posts on this website. We will reach out to guests with reservations with any relevant changes. Do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.
